Cast out. Thrust from the kingdom, from home, from family. At least, those are the human words. Cast from a place of light, the only true light, into darkness. Stars and other celestial lights fly past in a disorienting, almost mesmerizing display. Considering he exists in more dimensions than a mortal being, the experience is even more complex and confusing. From light and life, and everything that made sense. Flying through both physical space, and away from the Kingdom. Ended abruptly with a sudden violent crash and awkward collapse. Landing on a physical terrestrial surface. Experiencing a new sensation. Pain. And what dimensions of pain. It does not come gradually, like tipping a bowl. Right now, it is a flood. Heat and flames, hotter than any desert on the earth. Pressing that heat closer against him is the air itself, pushing down and against from every direction, like being trapped inside a clenched fist. Within the physical domain, he feels his form crush inwardly

SUNDAY HAHAHAHAHAH H HAHAHAHAHAH HAHAHAHAHA HA AHAHAHAHAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHA HA The next night, Gordon was on the intentionally unlit roof of the Major Crimes Unit, next to the shattered remains of the old spotlight. “You feeling okay?” Gordon asked his friend, who remained in the darkest part of the rooftop. “I’ve been shot at before. Blank rounds from a sniper and blood squibs are nothing. How’s your daughter?” Gordon sighed shakily. “I think she’s going to need a lot of therapy, but otherwise she’s good. I don’t think I need to worry when she starts dating, though.” He paused and looked out across the city skyline. “You sure this will work?” The shadow visibly nodded. “I got the Joker right to the place I wanted him, and struck when the iron was hottest. Where is he now?” “The mayor just got confirmation an hour ago. He’s situated at a max security prison, states away. Let’s hope he stays there.” “As long as he believes the Batman is dead, he will. SATURDAY IN BATMAN WE TRUST “Jim.” Gordon woke with a start, to find Fallon, that is, Batman, standing over him, back in his detective get-up. “You should go home and get some sleep,” Fallon said in his default low voice. “I slept fine,” Gordon lied. In reality, it had been a long, sleepless night for him, knowing that one of his children, his baby girl, was still in the custody of a monster who, through his reputation and antics, retained an intangible control of the city all through the week. Right now, his wife, Barbara, was being kept company at his apartment by a kindly old doctor named Leslie Thompkins. Gordon glanced at his watch, then outside, then back to his watch, feeling disjointed. It was after seven, and another dark, gray rainy morning. Inside his office was a wild mosaic of crime scene photos, the majority of them detailed photos from the Joker’s cell and apartment. Fallon

FRIDAY It’s Friday I’m in love MISTER CITY POLICEMEN SITTING PRETTY LITTLE POLICEMEN IN A ROW Gordon snapped awake at the sound of his cell phone ringing. He lifted his head from his desk and wiped the drool from his cheek before answering. Oh, man, had he spent all night here? “Uh, hello?” “I have the Joker’s location.” This was the best way to wake up! “Hot damn! Where’s this monster at?” “567 13th Street, Jerry’s Corner Store.” “13th Street, that’s in the Narrows. Perfect place to hide,” Gordon noted aloud. “Are you absolutely sure?” “It was the last location in the city to sell E. Nola Gaie, and I’ve seen someone show up the past couple nights.” “Beautiful. I have a task force, hand-picked and ready. They’ll be going in disguised trucks.” “Any word from the Joker or your family yet?” Gordon stopped and pulled his phone from his ear. He was thankful to

THURSDAY WALKER, JACKSON 103 KENNEDY DRIVE.……………………555-6701 WALKER, JACOB 477 ARSENAL ST………….….……………….555-4019 WALKER, JAMES 8270 ELLSWORTH DR 1492B……………….555-8931 Detective Stephens took a swig of his beer while the commissioner snapped his pool cue forward. It was just around lunch time with no significant 9-1-1 calls yet, and it had been a hell of a week. They figured, might as well blow off some steam and take lunch at Stephens’ favorite hangout, the bowling alley. All the while, neither would say it, but they were silently waiting with dread for another call. “Moira find her cell phone yet?” Stephens shook his head in irritation. “No. I swear, last week, she lost her name tag for work. Speaking of which, heard anything from Barbara and the kids?” Gordon sighed, running a hand over the golden band still on his left ring finger. “She wants the kids to do a full school year out in Cleveland.” Stephens

The Dark Knight: The Intimidation Game (Wednesday)
WEDNESDAY “I believe in deeply ordered chaos.” -Francis Bacon “The only difference between a madman and myself is that I am not mad.” -Salvador Dali Doctor Holloway opened the door to the asylum for the commissioner and Stephens, followed by Detective Borden and a pair of patrolmen. “What brings you gentlemen here today?” The psychologist asked as he led them through the dark claustrophobic hallway. “We’re here to dig deeper, see if there’s anything we missed,” Stephens answered. “Well, where do you want to start?” Holloway asked, while scratching his head. “Let’s start with personal affects,” Gordon answered directly. * * * Car horns began to honk behind the armored car. “Mel,” Bob Kowalski nudged to his partner in the driver’s seat. “Mel, green light!” Melvin Rawling simply yawned in response before jamming his foot on the accelerator
Been several lifetimes since I've been active on here. Last time, I was just a single dude trying to figure life out. At this point, I'm married to a woman who's as close to perfect as one could get, and we have two beautiful children.
I'm sorry I haven't been on and looked at everyone's pages in a while. In any case, I hope you all at least are alive and doing okay. :)
A quick update:
I've just tested for staff sergeant for my fourth time. (I know, pretty dumb) Hopefully, I did well enough on the test this time. I'll find out in August if I made it.
I got tasked for Airman Leadership School, as I'm one of the highest ranking Senior Airmen in my shop. I'm taking that as an extra sign that I'm long overdue for stepping up. I've been in the military for about five and a half years now, so it's about time I stepped out of my comfort zone and became more of the leader that I
